Installation Guide for the Command Line Distribution

Pre-requisites

• Determine the current stable release from the Release Notes page

• Look up the Java requirements in the Product Platform page

Installation

1. Download the distribution. Typically you will want the tar.gz version for linux or the .zip version for Windows, although the exact details are described in the “Packaging changes” section of the release notes for 0.10.x.

2. Check the integrity and authenticity of the download. The downloads directory provides SHA-256 and PGP signatures to facilitate this.

3. Extract the distribution.
