This extension to the Shibboleth 2.0 SP adds support for Information Cards. The SP will request login via managed cards and respond to responses from an Identity Provider.
"Information Cards" (InfoCards for short) is an important new technology for user signon to web-based applications, and potentially other kinds of applications. It goes beyond today's unmodified browser-based signon schemes (such as the SAML Web browser signon profile) by specifying a smart client and its interaction with Identity Providers and Service Providers. Its methods can improve both security and usability in several ways.
